“The Lion King Jr.” has all of the wonderful characters, songs, and dances that made this story of love and redemption a classic. Simba, the young lion prince who can’t wait to be king like his father, Mufasa, flees far from the Pride Lands when his uncle, Scar, kills Mufasa. Simba finds a temporary home with two unlikely friends, Timon and Pumbaa, but eventually returns to his pride to defeat his uncle and fulfill his destiny to be king.
